T-Ball (warning: lots of pictures)

I finally got Ryan's t-ball pictures downloaded from my camera and had to share some of them. I'm pretty sure that 4-year-old t-ball is strictly for the adult's entertainment. It is a blast to go and watch them all play. They were most excited about their shirts and hats. For his first game I had to meet Damon and Ryan at the field, so Damon was in charge of getting him ready. (Note to self: always get Ryan ready for games yourself.) He showed up (10 minutes late) and Ryan was wearing CROCS!! Hello?? Crocs? Good thing Ryan is coordinated and knows how to run well in them. LOL

It was so funny to see all the dads out on the field with their kids. I'm pretty sure there were equal number of parents as there were kids. Hilarious!!

Ryan loves to go to his games and it is so fun to see how much he enjoys it.

The hat is a little big...notice the ears! This is how he likes to wear it. :)

Check out all the parents! Oh yeah, and check out how big the other player is compared to Ryan. Sheesh!!

Ryan thought he needed to keep his foot on the base the whole time.

Making it to Home Base. (even in Crocs)

Big helmet, big shirt, big spirit!! I love this kid! (check out the Crocs)

The team in the dugout.

Ryan and his dad giving him some pointers.

Running to get the ball.

We made it!!

We've finally reached the last day of school. The girls had a great year and are ready for summer. They have BIG plans for the coming months, so I hope I don't hear the "B" word for at least a week. (You know...B-O-R-E-D) We are getting ready for a big movie marathon tonight in celebration. Earlier I heard them talking about asking Dad to set up the tent outside, but that they weren't going to tell Mom. Don't they know moms can hear ANYTHING from ANYWHERE?! Silly kids.

I finally watched.....

I thought this movie was sooo funny! Tons of witty one-liners that I need to use. (I need to watch it a few more times.) I thought Ellen Page was the perfect part for "Juno." She is a great actress and pulled off the part perfectly, "Honest to Blog!" (One of the one-liners.) Her boyfriend, Bleeker, couldn't have been more perfect either. Allison Janney cracked me up as her role of Juno's stepmom. Great casting in this movie. The soundtrack for the movie is in a category all its own, too. I put a few of the songs on my playlist. Not usually what I listen to, but perfect for this movie. Click here for anything you ever wanted to know (or see or hear) about Juno.

Getting Ready for T-ball

Ryan is so excited for t-ball. We decided to sign him up with the city league and he has been antsy to play ever since. He asks everyday if it's time to go to his game yet. He goes next Monday to meet his team and get his shirt and hat and stuff. I don't have the heart to tell him he won't be playing an actual game. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. LOL
We went and got Ryan some t-ball stuff to help him practice. We got a tee, bat, bucket of balls, mit, and HE insisted that we get him a helmet. (Probably a good idea considering the kid has no fear!) I just had to share these pictures of him trying out his new stuff. He LOVES it and wants to play everyday. Kris was over and taught him everything she knows, 'cuz his mother doesn't know anything.

Good stance, Kris!

See...he does what he's told!

Ready for an outfielder.

The helmet is NOT one size fits all. :)

It's May!!

We finally made it to May. It's a bit confusing here in Utah though. Here is what it should look like:

And here is what it ACTUALLY looks like:(we even got some snow)

Hopefully it will warm up in the next few days so we can go outside and enjoy the sunshine.
Happy May everyone!!
