Just as good as I had hoped. Beautifully written and acted; every scene is memorable. One very interesting element was how they blended the two musical styles of the main character of August's parents in a number of scenes. It would flash between her playing Bach on the cello and him playing Irish rock music on the guitar. It really supported the message of the whole movie; that music is the connection between all human beings.

We watched this a few weeks ago with the kids and they LOVED it! They asked us to rent in the next week too. Seems like good movies like that are few and far between these days.
